Second Fiddle

Talking to a friend recently we were discussing our roles in church and he gave his description of his position and then I gave mine... I told him I had often been referred to as an Aaron.  He quickly spoke and said, "second fiddle huh?".

Made me think.  Do I really want to be second fiddle the rest of my life! I almost got angry at the thought!  (yes, I get angry at times... I am human!)   Then I thought more about Aaron... Even though his role was behind the scenes often, he pressed on.  Yeah, he made mistakes...But it was Aaron that saw the end results of the promised land!  Moses could only see it... yet Aaron actually walked in it!

Do you ever feel like you are playing a secondary role in life... in your work, your church.  Do you often stand behind the scenes and there is little knowledge of your position?  Don't get angry at that, rejoice in it!  You may be the one to walk into the PROMISED LAND!!!!

 

Thoughts for Today:

Hold your head up high in all things... just make sure your nose isn't higher than your head!

Sleep a few minutes late... it's ok... the early bird won't get ya!

Spoiled means destroyed... don't be spoiled by the things of this world.

Jesus Loves YOU!  He really does!

When things are rough and you are thinking,... "where is God in all of this..."  think... "where are you in God during all of this...."
