Church had been filling the pulpits of churches for over fifty years. He served
as the associate evangelist for the late Ruben Jones as they traveled across the country
in the big cathedral tents as thousands would come each week to hear the message.
Many churches were established during this ministry and grew under the pastoral direction
of Rev. Howard. Formerly holding the position of Conference Overseer in a NC based

Pastor of The Father's House Church in

many years traveling with The Countrymen, Jerry & The Singing Goffs, The
Glory Road Quartet, and The Bobby Howard Singers.. He served as associate evangelist
for Sharing Christ Ministries, and serves on the board of Emanuel Baptist
University. His national television appearances on programs such as 700 Club, PTL,
and TBN have gained him international recognition. He is constantly in demand for crusades

After closing a Christian Tour Service in Nashville, Tn which he had operated for 7
years, Dempsey Howard began making plans to walk fully in the call of God as he felt on
his life. Church services were scheduled and the family hit the road singing and
speaking in churches. During a lull in the travel schedule and wishing to use every
means possible for ministry he took a job at a local Christian Television Market in
Nashville, TN. In the evenings while the family was in bed, he opened a christian chat
room on the Internet and met thousands of people in a short time. In just a few
weeks of selecting a name for the ministry to operate under, a change came in his family.
What he thought was a stable family enviroment was shattered and this change caused
an urgency to reach out to other families hurting and and seeking direction from God.
Months of fasting and praying began and the challenges grew greater.
Howard Family Ministries became more than just a family name, but a
"family" ministry. A ministry directed to the individual families as well
as the church family. A strong desire to see unity among individual christian
and church families has brought HFM to this point.
The call of HFM to all is to "WALK IN TESTIMONY" of God's
promises and offer personal and spiritual encouragement. A network of caring people
has been established all across the country in which prayer, personal contact, and more
can be accomplished.
